Combustion,Plasma, and Nanoparticle Laboratory (CPNL)
School of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering
The CPNL is located in the in Historic Felgar Hall (FH). FH houses the school of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. In our laboratory we are working to advance research in the areas of Nanotechnology, Combustion Emission of Biofuels and Plasma Technologies. We aim to understand the underlying mechanisms of the flame synthesis of transition metal oxide nanostructures in flames. Study the particular emission (soot) resulting from the combustion of new fuels such as biodiesels, and among other unique combustion and related plasma projects.
Experimental Studies in Combustion and Plasma
