Mission
JrSEED provides (incoming Freshman, Sophmore, Junior, and Senior) high school students an excellent opportunity to learn about “what-is” engineering through exposure to several unique hands-on engineering-related concepts/projects. This program is the outcome of our school participation in a National competition to Transforming Engineering Culture to Advance Inclusion and Diversity (TECAID).

What Makes JrSEED Unique
Introduces participants to the OU campus and specially to the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering facilities.
Participants will interact with faculty mentors and peers, and have fun with science & engineering and professional development activities.
The program offers a seminar on inclusion & diversity to the participants and Introduce of the importance of working in a diverse setting/environment and working on a team of people.Participants can continue to work with Professors once they start OU.
